FDT Group Completes Reaccreditation of Test Centers

Test Centers Pass Independent Audit for Providing FDT Product Certifications

The FDT Group, AISBL announced today that it has completed a third party audit of all on-going independent test centers for certification of FDT enabled products.

The FDT standard for device and network interoperability has been successfully deployed in tens of thousands of installations. This high level of adoption has been supported by an independent network of test centers that test products to ensure compliance with the FDT standard, also known as IEC 62453 and ISA 103. Products that pass the rigorous testing process earn the FDT Certified logo and are listed as certified products on the FDT web site.

“The purpose of the FDT standard is to provide device and network interoperability while exposing valuable diagnostic and configuration intelligence. Organizations that deploy the FDT standard seek the assurance that products they purchase are indeed compliant,” states Glenn Schulz, Managing Director of the FDT Group. “All test centers must periodically undergo a full audit of their processes and procedures by an independent auditor approved by the FDT Group. We congratulate all renewing test centers for passing their recent audits.”

The following test centers are certified by the FDT Group:

• BIS Prozesstechnik (Frankfurt, Germany)
• Endress+Hauser (Reinach, Switzerland)
• ifak System (Magdeburg, Germany)
• M&M Software (St. Georgen, Germany)
